Doctor eric curlander is the author of hitler's monsters, a supernatural history of the third rike. His work tells the story of what he calls the notsy supernatural imaginary. As noes increased their power in the years leading up to the end of the liberal weimar republic, they used a potent tool of fachism. And through a mash up of fantastical beliefs, old and new, they formed the notsy superhuman imaginary as a battle between good and evil that would lay the groundwork for everything that was to come.
