Qatar has always denied it did anything improper to win hosting rights for the tournament. As I understand it from talking to people in Doha, this is a big, is a hot topic in political circles over there. And I wonder how much this really affects the top politicians in the West and the EU because Qatar is too strategically important for them at the moment given we need a new reliance.
