Meropenem and the Mercy Trial
Methods of the mercy trial published in 2021, but I will go through some details that are important to the interpretation of the result. We have inclusion, exclusion criteria that are quite easy. Patients should be older than 18. So they need meropenem for the clinician the chision. All patients receive the initial bolus so we can quickly resume a high bacterial-cidal concentration of the drugs inside the patient.
