Hypochlorous Acid and Acne
Sodium hypochlorite on skin is being converted to hypochlorous acid, which has a lot of studies behind it in the dermatology world for its antimicrobial activity. The FDA will not allow claims that it kills staff aureus and the C. acne's bacterium; they don't like that,. But I think that is what's happening.
