The S-Curve of Heat Pumps

As energy prices go up, it's going to be natural for a shift towards heat pumps. The S-curve is basically an exponential where as more adoption happens, the cost of that technology comes down. Will it ever be feasible to have 100% adoption? Likely not. Is it going to change the whole world? I think it's got its potential for good but the forces of collapse continue forward whether or not we're using heat pumps.
