Hogborn Now Is Played Not With a Witch

Hogborn used to be played with a witch and two teams ofe five. The players are mounted on on cow back, and they have very long sticks. And what they have to do is force a pig into into an incredibly deep, quite narrow hole. Forty minute, forty minutes each way. One referee in each half. It mainly seems to take place in pub car parks late at night. Why aren't these games being played on the local common or somewhere more public in the daytime? Do you have something to be ashamed of? I think there's just a sort of sadness that its not being so haf embraced as a main stream opportunity.
