Both of us advocate for changing just one routine at a time. We have three kids who are doing a lot of their schooling at home, either through independenc study in college or home schooling. So the vision is simple, from nine a m till noon every day, all of us sit at the same table and do quiet, deep work like that's the vision. It took probably till i'd say ten 30 maybe to have everybody there. But it was really great once we did.
Two weeks ago I shared some thoughts on "the genius of routines" and the response from listeners was off the charts. Questions poured in. In this Q&A episode, my wife Anna joins me to respond to these questions and share immediately applicable and realistic ways to apply routines in families. This podcast episode is not just for people in the c-suite: it's for parents, managers, employees: and everyone who wants to put routines to work for them in the real world.
