Inflation Is Getting Out of Control, Right?

Inflation is a self-fulfilling prophecy, as people take money out of their savings and put it into the system. The government does everything they can to keep inflation under control. In just the last 30 years or so, governments have started setting up target inflation rates. When i pulled up the chart on google, i literally pushed my chair away from my desk and kind of just sat like slackjawed for a minute.
