What Do Astronauts Learn in Training?

The training takes place at the Lindenby Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. They practice for this in a 45 foot deep swimming pool called the neutral buoy and sea laboratory. There's also the KC 135 aircraft known as the vomit comet that you talked about made me nauseous with. Flight operations and safety aboard the ISS and so use spacecraft. This is done using life size mockups and increasingly more virtual reality is used as well.
