I think that there had been hopes in Ukraine, including on the part of President Zelensky and those around him, that they would get more of a commitment. The U.S. and Germany were a little out of step with the rest of the allies. And I think that went a long way to reassuring the Ukrainians that, you know, in the words of President Biden, NATO is in their future.
