The Dangers of Night Flying
Rajdeep Singh was captured by the Viet Cong in South Vietnam on December 2, 1967. He had been giving a lecture to pilots about dangers of night flying when his helicopter crossed highway one and caught fire. The pilot radioed an air traffic controller who called duck foe so he could warm up the aircraft's transponder before it went down. Rajdeep suffered several broken bones as well as burns after being thrown out of the burning helicopter.
