The Benefits of Having a Twitter Audience

There's a benefit to having a twitter audience, but it's very close to zero. I don't think it would make any difference to the success or failure of my various projects. People dramatically overestimate what the presence is on social media. You might get five people looking at your video if you tweet it. But like I could stop linking to my own stuff on twitter.
