I think labeling at boaty Mcboat face for all time will always be a bit of a wink wink. But don't you want to stand out in the application pile? I think that's a legitimate argument. Well, yeah, you could stand out by dressing up as a clown as well. Standing out doesn't always mean success. My overall all things considered, I do say, roll with it. Not such a bad name that it's going to hurt you forever.
