The Data Portability of Blue Sky on Mastodon
The data portability aspects that are in the technical foundations of Mastodon is really interesting. I'm excited about that even though I'm not necessarily a huge federation around my own instance kind of person. But one of the cool things is if I do decide that we, Blue Sky, itself, say they do a terrible job of moderation and that they mess it up, I can just take my stuff and go to another server with no loss to how my account works or where all my data is.
