Why Don't You Want to Donate TIDB to the CNCF?
TIDB's transactional key value API is very basic storage primitive for building different kinds of systems. EDCD works well on thousands of nodes, a level cluster, but that cannot scalable. So if you have a storage system with very simple API but still have some features like cross row transaction, that will really reduce the complexity for building the large distributed system. That's why we want to donate Thai KV.
