The Choices Are a Little More Complicated Than We Thought

Lakwe: The choices are a little bit more complicated than we thought at the beginning. It isn't just determinism on the one hand and freedom on the other. Lakwe went back and forth with christate, with the the potter clay analogy of paul. If you're going to interpret that calvinistically, that you have ultimately no more control over your beliefs and behaviours than a clay pot has over its shape and its use in the hand of the potter. And so i just own the analogy for what it actually entails, on the calvinistic reading of that analogy.
