The German Invasion of Krakow
The second day of the invasion was a better experience for the Luftwaffe. More effort was put into directly influencing the fighting on the ground. Polish defenders were not idle during this time, and there were many attempts to intercept German bombing raids. This included some efforts to provide their own air support for the ground forces. It also included strafing attacks on advancing German motorized infantry columns.
