Behind Neville Goddard’s teachings was a mysterious mentor named Abdullah, and one unforgettable encounter reveals the heart of what he taught.

In this episode, I share Neville’s extraordinary account of wanting to return to Barbados with no money, a looming deadline, and a teacher who refused to entertain his doubts.

We’ll explore the difference between imagining what you want and experiencing life from the identity of someone whose desire is already fulfilled.

Memorable Quotes

“There’s a difference between imagining something that you want and experiencing yourself as the person for whom it is already fulfilled.”

“What happens when you imagine your desire? Are you experiencing its fulfillment, or are you experiencing yourself wanting it? It seems like a two-millimeter distinction, but that’s everything.”

“You don’t need to turn this into another reason to criticize yourself because you’re not doing it perfectly. You can notice the doubt and return to the experience you’ve chosen, to the place from which you want to live.”
