The Government's Position on a Climate Trigger

I just want to be clear. I think you've actually answered the question but just so that I'm clear and the listeners are clear. Obviously, your opening position on the safeguard item is as you've described. What you've asked the government for is a ban on new coal and gas projects. From what Chris Bowen has said publicly, a capital B ban is not something that the government can give you. So we're happy to have if people have got other ways of dealing with this question - it's an offer not an ultimatum. We would look at all of those any suggestions that are put on the table and we consider them in good faith.
