Anzier Is a Classic Case of Taking Massive Risk
General Lucas was given command of Anzier and he just didn't quite have enough to do the job. The allies by that point, very sensibly, got to the point where there's no point taking massive risk because you're going to win anyway. My grandfather played rugby for England or an English side in 1917. This is my maternal grandfather because he was a very, oozyo, second row forward rugby playing guy. He'd survived First World War with some gas injuries but not badly wounded. And so, having survived the poor man was killed as a reporter in the Second World War. So, I never met you rightness, but we've all had our goodbyes
