How Did You Get Into Automating?
Alison West: I wanted to do it because all the cool kids were doing it. But I actually had trouble thinking of things to automate. Eventually, I tried Automator and thought, okay, that's going to be I should be able to crack the code on this. And I could get partway through, but no matter what I did, I needed to use Apple script. That was kind of the launching pad for it. It's one of those things I think snowballs.
