What's the Role of the Reserve Bank of Australia?

The Reserve Bank of Australia was out this week with a hawkish, very hawkish rate hike. I think perhaps a humbling to those that are jumping up and down saying that the inflation problem has been solved. Disinflation is starting to take hold, but it was Powell's comments this week that were potentially a warning sign that there might still be work to be done. And really what we've seen, you know, at least in commodity prices, oil never went up during China reopening.
