The Hawk Is Not a Clean Eater
A cooper's hawk leaves detritus of the pidgin that run on our deck. When you're doing falconry, every time you take your bird out, you've taken that bird out to the wild. Other hawks will attack it just because it's food now and they don't recognize their own.
