Is It Safe to Prone Without Paralysis?
Not all patients can safely prone without paralysis. And i think it will become more challenging if we develop a propopall shortage. I kind of feel like this is like the super drive of the ventilator when you're just like hitting a wall and you kind of need like, some extra oxination. It can be used for refractory hypoxema or kind of corpumnal. Another place that i find this to be sometimes helpful is if you're having like, a really crashing patient. If their pt f ratio remains under one 50 and they're on high amounts of f i two then you wante seriously think about proning them.
