Is it best for you to do the meditation or exercise and then within six hours sit down to do your work? I think it depends on where you are at the time. For example, when I wake up and I'm stressed out, sometimes I like to write first thing in the morning. That's when I work best and focus best. If I've come to work stressed out, I will do a gratitude practice. I'll write down 10 things I'm grateful for and try to feel each one of them.
