How to Talk About the Past

i'd never visited Paris before but my girlfriend had told me a lot about it so i was kind of prepared all right um past perfect continuous as well as studying at university and college i'd also been playing in lots of bands over the past few years. We use modal verbs to talk about possibilities in the past like might have done could have done can't have done will have done and so on if we're talking about past possibilities. There's just a few examples of the way we speculate or make talk about possibilities using modal verb plus have plus past participle.
