The Myth of the Visionary CEO Entrepreneur
The mythology of the visionary CEO entrepreneur is that odds with democracy when said CEO is venerated as a philosopher king. Listener Nate writes in to say, we need more employee-owned businesses. Why do we advocate for democracy and physics? But throw that out the window as soon as we go to work where individuals or small groups make decisions that often benefit them at the expense of the employee and or the environment.
