The italian writer of short stories, novels and journalism. His works include the our ancestors trilogy which i would loosely describe as fantasy novels. He wrote novels that were sort of anchored in his war experience. But he also assembled this collection ofke 200 italian folk tales in 19 56 because they didn't know who the italian like brothers grim werei was.

Sometimes a book is so meta it sort of breaks your brain! How to talk about a book that is all beginnings and no ends? How to discuss a book that enlists You, the Reader, in its chicanery? We try to get on the wavelength with Calvino's text. You be the judge of if we get there.
