The Mysterious Relationship Between Value and Exchange Value
Karl Marx says value is always in motion, and that means a process is objectified in a thing. A useful article therefore has value only because abstract human labor is objectified or materialized in it. But the thing would not exist without the process. So an idea is going to become very important in Marx's work.
