The Problem With Memory

The number of synapses that are activated every time we try to recall something or we learn something, it's very small. So I don't think that capacity is really a problem here. Every pyramidal neuron has 10,000 excitatory inputs. You only use your 2% of those for a given memory and then consider that you have all those combinations of neurons that you can use to form a cellular angram. And even if you consider what we are claiming that the actual angram is at the dendrite level and not necessarily the neuronal level, then it increases massively. That's one thing.
