After university, i worked three years in the villages of zanzibar. I realized id spent the first 20 years of my career trying to make visible those things that were just left invisible by man economics. So i left my job to write downot economics and focused on reading all the economic theories i had never been taught. And i was just really fascinated and excited by the insight i found in these but my frustration is that they are all pigeon holed off in their own a little niche area.
