What's the Difference Between SETI and the Advancements in SETI?
In the 60s, when Radio SETI started, it was only just barely possible for humanity to be able to send a signal that humanity might be able to detect at interstellar distances. The road to discovery has changed as you done more and thought about these other ways of finding aliens. And so that scenario's in contact is now one possibility in a big range of things that we might find. It's not unreasonable to talk about what we might find or how we might find it.
