Transsexual is usually reserved for cases where a person has used medical interventions like hormon treatment. Transvestit would have more to do with a cross dressing, a activity itself. Gender disporia refers to the distress that can be associated with a discordant gender identity. Intersex experience involves shared reproductive tissue of male and female sometimes makes it difficult to identify children as boys or girls at birth.
