The Importance of Sound in a Room
I think that a lot of stress is to do with the fact that there's just so much racket and there's no peace. And if we're going to live in square buildings, and we will be because it's the engineering way to achieve space easily, then we need to be thinking about treatment. So when I'm really getting critical, particularly in the presence area, say from 2K to 5K, I'm listening to Diana Krell or, you know, a really good vocalist Because the female vocal is so telling in that area. We don't make a sound at all. We just try to get rid of all the nonsense. Everything's got a resonant frequency.
