Many cultures don't have a word for the color blue. In two thousand n six, psychologist jules davidoff and his team did color experiments with himba speakers and english speakers. They showed them a bunch of squares where one is blue and the rest are ades of green, and they asked which one is different. Most of the hymba speakers spotted the different green square immediately, but had a hard time noticing the blue square in the other set. Meanwhile, for the english speakers, it was the exact opposite.
