Are We Building With Bricks and Mortar More Houses?

The yimby movement is very much dominated by right wing as it's a movement within the Conservative Party. It doesn't quite yet exist, but I think there probably will be quite a powerful left yimbymovement emerging which says we need to build new houses. We need to radically change how we tax land so that we can get them constructed. But some on the left are really committed to saying supply doesn't matter. Saying the supply of housing is a complete red herring. This is a developers argument and I don't buy it at all actually.
