Is the Church a Champion for Women?

There are all of these ideas about women as these kind of less than that had already existed for thousands of years before the church ever came along. And indeed, there are certain things that the church does, which people are quite surprised to learn about if they go dig into it. In the medieval period, the church is really much more comfortable, for example, with abortion than the modern churches. This is largely because the medieval world has absolutely no possibility for birth control, really, other than abortion.
