The Meetings of Anna is a film that has the most exquisite craft to it. The writing and performance are very much sort of like gorgosis stuff, you know, like there's an absurd quality to it. There's two shots in the film that I went to great, great trouble to try to replicate exactly from this movie. If you watch this film, you'll know exactly what they are. And by me not telling you, maybe someone will watch this film that might not have been in this.
