The Lord's Promise to His People

The lord promises that his servants will not suffer under such a curse of futility any longer. The great curses of futility served to frustrate the growth of people in their wickedness. In this respect could be seen as a merciful act of the lord preventing evil from thriving. But these judgments of futility were never the lord's ultimate gracious intent. His purpose was that his people, as they pursued righteousness, would be strengthened in their path.
