Is There a Linear Pattern in the Lyric?

Lyrics are very important here. They're brutally honest in the way that you talk on this record. Probably when we talk about the other songs as well, it is minimalism. So there's a lot of repetition of, I think today is the best day of my life. And I guess each time you're trying to subvert the meaning of what that line means. You have an idea for a sonic palette or something like that in a record, and normally it will go. The process of removing any possibility of any other instrumentation meant that the piano part, even the construction of the song had to be different.
