The Importance of Preparation
The arising of the bodhicitta within us is like a priceless jewel on a dung hill at night. Who would have thought that in our case, earning our living, doing our jobs, raising our families, going on to meditation classes once a week, this should ever have arisen? We are usually most of us in far too much of a hurry. I don't mean just that we are putting a lot of effort into things. IDon't even mean that we are doing things quickly. Imean that we are just in too much of an impatience.
