The Pyramids of the Aztecs
This was a temple that was actually rediscovered in the 20th century and I think its construction first began sometime after 1325. In 1978 a total excavation began after electric company workers accidentally drilled into a prehistoric stone disc nearly 10 feet long and one foot thick. The fact that they were able to do this is still mind blowing to this day.
