The Evolution of Jewish Identity Since I Left the Community

I've got no problem with the idea of states and national holidays reflecting the composition of its communities. I don't think that we should have a head of state also be the head of the church of England. It's the idea that you can enforce cultural hegemony of any kind at the expense of other human beings who live there. Most British Jews support Israel, but most are very critical as in support Israel as a Jewish state, but are very critical of how Palestinians are treated.
