The Impact of Vladimir Putin's Invasion on the War in Ukraine
Russia's security services are trying to put a united face on what Mr. Pragoshan is doing, says Steve Boulden. As long as Vladimir Putin is having a deal with this very serious domestic issue, logic has it that he will have less time to think about the war in Ukraine,. But as I say, he has these two big problems on now. And when you go back 16 months to before he took that fatal decision to launch this invasion, he did not have the problem of armed mutinists going on. All of this instability appeared after the 24th of February 2022, after he took that decision to invade Ukraine.
