I think we're in this great reversal, and we're beginning to be where we are starting to see ourselves. I'm not a black woman, but I am learning how to see reality through the lens of black women. That's not the script that patriarchy taught me. It didn't teach me to see women as it told me to be different from women. But what I'm learning is actually how to humble myself and hear, see, and listen to black women on a whole other wavelength. When black women talk, they're talking about our collective liberation.
