The Sacred, the Profane Business

i think there has to be a sacred space to do our profane business. But if it's all just sacred, then you're always the hangman. You never have any kind of skillful means to get into the world. So we have to balance these two things. Keep what is sacred sacred to us. And that's, you know, that's why, that's what you do. That's what magic is. It'sKind of guarding the sacred, i think, a lining with the sacred and then being able to sell it.
