Professor Murray was from the north of Scotland and brought out in a particular kind of Presbyterian tradition. He had that old Scottish Presbyterian ability with which he presented his theology. My highest moment of my theological life was at a meeting of theological students, when I dared to ask him a question. "I'm going to take you through that door and show you things that lie behind it"
