The Invention of World Religions

The invention of world religions was something that came out of European colonialism and the, the encounter of Europeans with the rest of the world. They had to sort these people and phenomena around the world into religion versus non religion religion versus secular. And it just wasn't that was just not a scheme of categorization that other people in the world knew I mean they might have something kind of similar, but not, but not the same thing. It's how you make sense of the world and order the world and, and recreate a social system.
