Dema and Her Sisters Stayed Home All the Time
Dema's half brother was a passionate follower of the radical shea leader moctare alsara and his matly army militia. He tried hitting her when she went out to run an errand with a girl friend from school. Dema became increasingly isolated and insecure, and began criticising other girls and women for dressing inappropriately.
