The African-American Community's View of Cuba and the Cold War

The African-American community was hardly monolithic in its perspective toward Cuba and the Cold War more generally. There's a growing sense, I think, among some black leaders, including people like Martin Luther King, that somehow America has got itself on the wrong side of this anti-colonial question.
